Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi was born on 22nd December, 1853 (Agrahaayana Krishna Saptami according to the lunar calendar) in the village of Jayarambati to her parents Shyamasundari Devi and Ramachandra Mukhopadhyaya. This year janmatithi (birthday according to the lunar calendar) falls on December 15.
